Anybody ever find an Easter Egg?

I was digging a small park last year sometime after Easter and got a good hit! I was quite surprised when I dug about an inch deep and struck a blue egg!! It contained 3 pennies 2 dimes and a nickel!!!!

now that's a neat surprise. No special Easter treats from this guy. Were there any special dates in it?
  • Unfortunately not. Still have the plastic egg though!!!!!! Gotta keep all the diggin' souveniers!!!

As a kid in the 60s we went to a swimming club.
For Easter they would have an Easter egg hunt, the eggs had old coins in them.
I remember finding eggs that had IHCs or Buffs and other old coins.
Most eggs were hidden in the plants or planters.
They would make all the kids wait then start the hunt together.
There were many kids and many eggs with coins to find.
I wonder if anyone ever got a chance to detect for lost eggs.
LOL.... I just googled it and the place is still there.
Maybe some forumites are members there, I haven't been to Seattle in ages.

    This is where it was:
