He also needs to hold the coin properly....doesn't matter since it's fake.
In tradedollarnut I trust.
I love the description where he says that it was reported as fake and removed.

Somehow I don't think eBay will like his relisting an item they removed.

"Hi your looking at a Authentic US trade dollar. This auction was removed Today by Ebay. It was also the ending date of this auction. They said someone from the community reported it as a fake? I wasn't even consulted at all! Its not a fake, and I put more pictures to prove it. Questions welcomed. Happy bidding"
Reported.

Good point....dirty nails on a female trying to sell an expensive product makes no sense.
Why no fingernail polish??? Sell your product....sell your product!!

While I believe it is fake, there are some real cowboys on eBay who think they know everything about Trade Dollars. (The community watch group or whatever they call themselves.) I have found them to be more wrong than right, but maybe it's just me.
<< <i> I have found them to be more wrong than right, but maybe it's just me. >>
How? How can you gather any information on this in order to make such a statement?
Maybe we should all bid the coin up to an astronomical number then file the appropriate counterfeit claims with paypal.

If you would read what I said, "I" have found this to be the case. You don't think I know if my own genuine coins were taken down on eBay? I suppose you will now ramble on that they must have been fake if they were removed.

lol, defensive much? I had an ebayer use that line on me after I reported his auction and ebay pulled it. He was selling a raw problem coin and using MY image of MY certified coin to point out how "great" his was...

What?? Not the case in my opinion. Oh, maybe a few have been nuked that should not have been. But, very
few. Thanks to ebay TD's are a much safer buy now than they were just a few months, years, ago.

Even if all of your stuff was legit, how do you correlate that to an eBay wide proclamation. I think its funny you go into a self righteous tirade in a thread called " some people never learn"

My message to the seller:
"Dude, you should stick to being a MMA wannabee, cause you sure don't know squat about fake Trade Dollars. Tell you what - put up a picture of the coin on a digital scale, with the shot showing the weight of the coin. My money says it ain't even close to specs. Man up, toad."

It is best to learn from those who are graciously advocating the truth. Correction is good. Some people hate it, but honest people crave it. There's that old cliche' ... " There is something NEW to learn, every day". Who is not blessed or "enriched" by learning the truth ?

The fact that you're taking the time to point out this is fake and even bring it to our attention is humbling.
