Been a long time since I've added AU in any sizable amount. Got the 10 peso yesterday for a few bucks over melt:

    Some silver from Monarch PM's

    A poured 10oz and a 1oz.

The hand poured one ounce ingot is much smaller in overall size than your typical Engelhard or JM bars, with an increased thickness.
All in all, after purchasing 1oz, 2oz, 5oz and 10oz bars from them I can conclusively say my favorite is the 2 ounce bars, followed up by the 10 ounce bars.

    Enjoy

Wishing all who celebrate a healthy and happy holiday

The rest of my order came this week. They say to buy what you like. And I did.

Just a medal for me this week...waiting for some gold to arrive! image

This is Arezzo, a city in Tuscany close to my hometown.
The design is by Gori and Zucchi, they have worked for the Arezzo Mint (some of the Bahamas coins were designed by them in the 70's).

edited to add: it is not gold, unfortunately.

Took a chance with an "at risk" ebay seller. Purchase arrived today, two raw $5 AGEs for $325.

Picked up these very cool 1 oz USVI (United States Virgin Islands) bars that were a precursor to the little 1 oz AMARK chunky bars, I'm guessing from the early '70's. If anyone knows for sure, I'd appreciate knowing.

POM---Is the company that made those bars shown on those bars? Is there a reverse design?

    Nice hauls this week guys.
Those USVI bars are really cool.
Slow week for me. Just a 1928 peace dollar and a generic silver round.

Thanks. Never heard of them before now. Do they usually bring any kind of premium in the marketplace?

Wow! Thank link was a great tool to learn about these USVI bars. I thought they were early '70's and came before the chunky style ones, but it turns out thaey were made after them, in 1982. This is the 2nd thing I learned today lol.
These 10 USVI bars I have came from a member here. I'll leave it up to him if he chooses to disclose who he is in case he doesn't want to be hit up with offers for what he has left.

Thanks. Never heard of them before now. Do they usually bring any kind of premium in the marketplace?

There's someone on eBay that wants $101 for 1, but you can ask whatever you want, right? lol I don't think one has sold on eBay since I've become aware of them at any price to my knowledge.

The ones I have have the USVI-2 design on front & back. The picture I took didn't turn out well, I'll try a better pic when I get some time.
