Uncatalogued 1977 Hostess Dave Parker Card? Help please.

Can anyone tell me if this is an unissued proof? My big book says there is a numbering variation for card 119, but doesn't identify any Dave Parker card. Dave Parker is not listed as an unreleased proof. I've scoured the Internet but haven't come up with a single reference to or image of Dave Parker in 1977 Hostess. Any help would be appreciated. Are there many known examples of this card? It is printed on both sides.

in my 2009 SCD , under the 1977 Proofs writeup, they say 3, 9, 65, 119 have numbering proofs, but when you look at the checklist, only 3 and 9 have the 'a/b' variations listed.... the #65 and #119 didnt note both variations printed in checklist (typo?)
  • Jerry Reuss is #159 in the unissued proof set, maybe Hostess decided to replace #119 Dave Parker very early in the press run with the alternate Jerry Reuss card? The same thing must have happened with the original #65 in the set, which was replaced by the unissued proof of #153 Ken Brett. I am guessing that someone didn't like the dark background behind Parker, and rather than repair the contrast or change the photo, they decided to use the alternate Pirate Reuss instead.
  • There are proofing marks on each side of Parker and under each card, so I would guess that it's a proof panel.

Thanks. That makes sense - particularly the printer marks. But it's interesting that I can't find a Dave Parker reference anywhere. I've been accumulating these panels and just noticed this tonight. It's pretty cool to find something from a relatively popular '70s set that doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere. I remember checking box bottoms as a little kid. The 1970s version of Wagner. Hah!
