Be a little more specific. What years, what grades and what players. Commons, Stars, HOF'ers?

Edited to add; There's no price guide that I know of. You can look at ebay's completed listings or subscibe to VCP.

Josh, A761506 on this board , knows more about Topps Venezuelan issues than anyone else I know. You might pm him here or on NET 54 where he posts under the same ID. I will sen him an email asking him to pop in here

Bishop is correct about JoshA761506 being the most knowledgeable and experienced on Venezuelans.

I collect Killebrew and have all but one of the Venezuelan cards he appears on.

A 1966 Venezuelan Clemente in "high" grade (6 or 7 would be high for a Venezuelan) could absolutely go through the roof. The Clemente collectors are very aggressive in going after what they need for their sets. A 4 or 5 with good eye appeal could go for hundreds of dollars.

Any Hall of Fame player in at least a 3 can bring good money. These are so hard to come by there don't seem to be many people collecting sets, so the commons seem to get little attention.

Many Venezuelans that come up have been removed from albums or are just in terrible condition.

What grade is the 1966 Clemente that you are interested in?

There's exactly one PSA 7, I'd guess it would sell for around $3,000-4,000, while a PSA 6 would probably be worth somewhere around $2,000-2,500.

However, once you're into PSA 5 and lower territory, the price should fall dramatically. A PSA 5 would probably go for around $1,000. I could see a PSA 3 selling for around $300-500. A PSA 2 should be around $200.

For what it's worth towards placing a value on these cards, I sold my 1966 PSA 6 Koufax for $2,500.00 back last fall 2012.

Great info.....thanks guys. I don't have a specific grade yet just looking to get one. Just want to make sure I don't overpay. I'm thinking I might hit PSA4/5 territory.

    Thanks again

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all "right-thinking" people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”
