Trouble with AT Pro?

Anyone having problems with recently purchased AT Pros? A friend and I set up a test bed to learn how it sounds with coins positioned various ways. None were over 4" deep. The AT Pro would not pick up these coins worth a darn! Cheaper machines, Garrett and White's, picked them up great. We have sent the detector back to the factory. Any one else experiencing this? Will Garrett stand behind their product? Thanks, Bob

probably a dumb question, but did you make sure the sensitivity was the highest it could be?

I always find the best way to deal with issues is to call the company's technical service department. I know White's is superb - very responsive and helpful. Cheers, RickO

My experience with Garrett- they stand behind their product period.

Did it partially work, or not work at all?

I had a searchcoil problem with a new Garrett, once. (A GTA-500, back in the '90s). That machine was just a lemon, I guess.

They replaced it and the replacement served me very well for many years.
