Paul Krugman is filing bankruptcy.

this is the guy that said we could just print all the money we want and it won't end badly

7 million + in debts against $33,000 in assets image I wonder if they will let him keep his nobel prize in economics

You know, I don't wish this on anyone... but sometimes it's just poetic justice.

I'd check the source. Some links are calling this a spoof. Even Krugman might not be dumb enough to rack up that much debt against so few assets.

The Daily Currant is a satire magazine. Before the banksters and congressman ever let something like this happen to one of their own....they'd bail them out, secretly if
need be. The sun still shines on the world of Keynesianism.

Krugman's not bankrupt, but the rest of us will be if we keep listening to his brilliant ideas.

As did the Boston Globe, and it got there from a 3rd party vendor that sometimes provides financial news to them. It was a reasonable error as a reprint but would have been double sourced had it been their own story.
