So, for no particular reason, I wanted to try some close-up macro work. I then thought it might be fun to see who could guess the coins that these cropped images came from. Some will be easy. Hopefully more than one will be a bit harder. I'm not sure but it's possible that a photo might have more than one correct answer:

I can't guess #17. Obviously modern. I hope it's not some dumb state quarter.

Whoever is closest by 8PM Mountain Time tonight will receive the giveaway (the coin in photo 19). You can either post here, or via PM if you don't want others to see your guesses.
Lance.
Just wanted to compliment you on the excellent macro photography work!
Maybe I'll feel sharper after my work out in the lap swim session coming up.... It's amazing how much better I'm feeling after these work outs!!!!
Thanks for the fun thread Bryce

Final results are in.
Lance was first and guessed 20/20 coins correctly but missed the date on the Kennedy Half, guessing 1966
John was next and guessed 19/20 correctly, but then changed his answer on #24 from "modern crap" to "2007 Proof Platinum Eagle", making him 20/20, but missed the Kennedy date, guessing 1986.
MsMorrisine guessed third, and got 20/20, and correctly answered 1976 on the Kennedy. The only Kennedy with the 6 that far to the right is the one dated "1776-1976".
Bill (LoveMyLiberty) was last, and got 20/20, all with correct dates, but MsMorrisine was first.
It's a bit of a judgement call here, with Lance and John technically getting 20/20 coins, but missing the date on the Kennedy. At great personal risk, I've decided to declare MsMorrisine the winner of coin #19, a whizzed slider 1923-D Peace Dollar that I've been keeping around to remind me of my idiot collecting days.
Hope you all enjoyed the photos.
For fun, here's the final 16:
18 - 1923-D Saint
19 - 1923-D Peace Dollar
20 - 1940 Walking Liberty Half

23 - 2010-D Lincoln Presidential Dollar
24 - 2007 $10 Platinum Proof
25 - 1904-S Liberty Head $20
26 - 1976-S Kennedy Half
27 - 1999 Connecticut State Quarter
28 - 1976-S Eisenhower $1
29 - 1999 Susan B. Anthony Dollar
30 - 1909-D Indian $5
31 - 1854 G$1, Type I
32 - 1956 Franklin Half Dollar
33 - 1913 Indian $10
Now, for a toughie. Who can get this one?
