Recent purchases - 1866 and 1870 Seated halves

Got lucky finding these two at the same time with the look I liked. These dates don't appear all that often, at least for me!

1866 PCGS VF-35

Very nice coins! I agree with 35 for the '66 but the '70 could easily be a 45 and should be. The 1866 is a little sleeper that is not around too often but can be found in vf-xf condition.

Both coins are nice! The 1870 should be a EF45 but may have been knocked back because of ticks in the rim. It's still a great looking coin! I really like both coins!

I grade the 1866 XF40, and the 1870 XF45. Of course, if they have some surface marks that aren't obvious in the photos, they could easily be netted down a bit.
