Sorry to learn of another job loss, I hope this isn't the start of trouble with the job market again, we haven't fully recovered from the last round yet. Let's hope there isn't more to come.

Well, it's not quite Friday but I'm good to post as I don't think I'll be picking up anything else.
The bullets (after a bit of a wait) and the 5oz came in this week. The other stuff was purchased here and there during the past week.

Sadly, no bullion purchases to report but I am hopeful in the future. That said, I too am jobless as of the 16th of this month... I see a trend...lol. I just returned from an interview (Fingers crossed). I will know by Wednesday evening.

Some British PMs I grabbed yesterday image

    2002 Proof Gold Half-Sovereign (.1176oz agw), 2002 Proof Gold 5 Pounds (1.176oz) and 2002 Proof Silver 5 Pounds.

The 5 Pounds coin may not be in my hands long. I'll be bringing it to the show on Saturday and have a dealer or two in mind who may want it.

    Here's my haul this week...
    image

I picked up a sealed tube of PCGS graded "First Strike BU" 2010 silver eagles. I had never seen these before but the dealer I bought them from seemed
to think they were pretty common. They're sonicaly (sp?) sealed so you can't open it at all without destroying the tube?

While I was there, I picked up a 2013 for my album set as well. $32 each for the tube & single 2013.

Here are my two silver art bar purchases from the 1st day of the TSNS Spring coin show:

    Bar # 1:

    image

    image

It is a 1974 Madison Mint "83rd A.N.A. Florida" silver art bar. I paid $35.00 for it (spot silver was $28.58/oz).

    Bar #2:

    image

    image

    image

It is a "10th Anniversary America in Space" silver art bar. It is a sterling silver (.925 purity) silver art bar that was minted in 1971 by Franklin Mint. The weight of this bar is 1000 grains (2.08 troy oz's ---> ~1.93 troy oz's equivalent .999 pure silver). Currently, this is the only sterling silver art bar that I have in my entire silver art bar collection. I paid $60.00 for this bar (Actual silver bullion value for this bar = $55.16). I usually do not buy sterling silver art bars but I made an exception here because 1.) I do not have a Franklin Mint art bar in my collection and 2.) I like this particular theme on this bar and this is the first time that I have seen this particular Franklin Mint bar.

I know, the plastic is in fact exactly the same (and different from the original JM).
Though, they say Johnson Matthey and have serial numbers image ...while Sunshine Minting does not "print" any serial on theirs. Don't understand why!

This is my only silver art bar purchase today on the 2nd day of the TSNS Spring Chattanooga Coin show:

    image

    image

    image

It is a 1975 World Wide Mint "Coca-Cola - Atlanta" silver art bar. I paid $35 for it today (spot silver finished yesterday at $28.56/oz). Relatively speaking, this is a decent deal IMO. Mintage-wise, it is the most common Coca-Cola silver art bars that was minted by the World Wide Mint (mintage = 50,000). IMO this purchase today is my best silver art bar purchase out of the 3 total bars that I bought at this coin show.
