Missed out on a nice run of ungraded wax packs on auction. Bummed.

I got sidetracked with work last night and missed out on this auction at Huggins & Scott last night. Would have paid substantially more. Seems like a steal. Anyone else track this lot?

Some uncut sheets brought tremendous prices, like $3,750 for an uncut 1971 OPC baseball high numbers sheet. Wow.

It's not you. Link not working.
I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.

Here's a better link (I think) - Huggins and Scott

And yea, those uncut sheets finished very high. I was especially liking that 1974 sheet with the Washington National League cards on them. That said, who know how much the seller's "Safety Bid" might have been.

BTW - those packs didn't go for a ton because of all the popped backs and such. I didn't get a good feeling about them.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

WHY would you want to buy with such a description? Glad you saved $1,000.00+.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I did that once, "possibly opened..we cant tell" ended up being "wrapped in saran wrap"

Hope the guy who bought these uncut sheets doesn't own a top of the line laser cutter too.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

I read so fast (or got enthralled by the photos so easily) that I completely missed that in the description! A new "wow" from me, as in, wow, I could have made a major mistake last night. Thank you work.

  • well that 82 tops baseball pack looks weird, never seen one so off center as that.

Some of the older packs look crinkled. Dont know if thats normal. But I dont know. At $900 is it worth the risk you think?

$900 + comission for searched packs seems awful high to me.....no steals there!
