What is the longest you have waited...

for an auction lot to be delivered ?
Just curious....
It has been a month since I won a gold aureus from Heritage Jan 07 Sale...
and its not been sent yet...

Just seems to me that a month is ample time to send won lots... No ?

I would call to verify a shipping confirmation (i.e. tracking number) if they've already posted. Otherwise, ask them "what's the deal?"

Three months from NGSA. Heritage is always quick but NGSA was a nightmare to deal with.

Waited three months for a lot from Archives International back in 2008. In 2009 I waited over a month after my cheque cleared through Stacks for a significant purchase to arrive and it took several calls - I was anxious because I was leaving the USA for several months and wouldn't be able to receive it. It finally came about three days before my trip.

The longest I've ever waited for a coin from an auction house, was three months, for a $75 dollar coin from Heritage's world coin month auctions. It initially took one and a half month to arrive, but they had just switched from USPS to a courier service, UPS, and because of that it got stuck at Greek customs, who were asking me 110 euros to release it. I told them to send it back, and it finally arrived 92 days after I paid for it. To Heritage's credit, they decided to refund me, but this courier return problem hasn't been solved since.

NGSA is a nightmare in Europe too, but it's usually worth the wait.

The longest I've waited for a coin from an individual, was a registered parcel from shroom, that took 29 days to arrive, one day before I was about to start an official inquiry. On the other hand, shroom also holds the record of both fastest delivery and receipt, both slightly less than two days due to the seven hour difference between Athens and NY.
