Is there some scarce variety here? I've seen these 2 1964-D MS-63 quarters recycled on TT for over a year, always for a price > $100. What gives?

And it doesn't appear to be the DDR or DDO either...
EDIT: Just noticed $150.00 is the consignor's reserve - the coins didn't actually realize that number.
kinda looks like ddr but they are so over-exposed it is hard to discern
that'd be me vote though
.

Simple--Seller is looking for a sucker. That is the opening reserve bid--I really do not believe that anyone will bid on them.

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line. Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.
When the percentage of over-reserved coins reaches a certain threshold, it really makes you think twice about browsing the auctions. Teletrade is going to find that out the hard way.

I've watched those 2 coins for better than 3 years! Always the same
Ridiculous buy backs.
I think that the seller firmly believes that they are Type C reverses
When in reality they are only well stuck in the area of the leaf
Under the arrow tips.
I've seen them sell.......only to be returned.
You'd think that Teletrade would smarten up?
