Why so much?!

I mean, I understand it's pretty clean for a 66, and it's in an OGH, but almost 2k? Really? Even it were to "plus", that'd still be a lot of $$$, and 67 seems like a stretch (note the obverse @ 5 o'clock).
Am I missing something? Perhaps a VAM? I didn't think there were many "big" VAMs for this date/mm...

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Several bididiots wanted the coin. I have an 84 CC in 4 and sold 2 83 CCs in 5, and have seen quite a few of them, so I have an idea of what they look like in this grade. I'll become the next Pope before that coin upgrades. It's a nice 6. That's it. What does one sell for these days? $800?

I don't think that the chatter at 5 o'clock would keep it from a 67. That's not to say it would go 7 but it might.
Pope Elcontador?

Well, maybe if the winner is a forumite, he'll stumble upon this thread and share with us his intentions.

Something like that, Your Holiness.
