It was one of our countries best era after WWII....in my opinion.
After the war they......got married, had us kids, baby boom, lived in the cities and suburbs......the best music of the big bands to ever be heard! and prospered.
This is my Mother and Father pic's of them and I have their original marriage pictures, that were colored in back then
Good bye to one of the great Patty Andrews.....missed but never forgotten.

Sadly my Father past away in 1990 but my Mother is hanging on living in an assisted living home in Scottsdale now. She is 86 now. I remember growing up seeing my mothers hairstyle like that and my parents always had a houseful of friends every weekend.
They would have parties and the music of big bands and Frank Sinatra blasting on the radio. I would always sneak down to our basement where the parties were going on and busted by my mom, she would send me up to bed as it was way past my bedtime and back then children were seen and not heard!....lol
