I just paid $15.00 for something I bid $500.00 for last year.

Just won it today. A BIN for $15.50. Couldn't believe it.
Bid over $500.00 for this very same item last year and lost.
Have only seen three of these on ebay in a long, long time.
The last two ebay sales are $130.00 in 2009
and $566.00 in 2011.
Can't wait to hear from someone who says I should have contacted the seller to inform him to relist his item at a hgh price before I bought it.

My original post says I bid over $500.00 and lost
I just checked my losing bid, and it was actually 740.00
So someone else paid $740.00 for this last year, and I got it for $15.50
Needless to say, I would have paid much higher then $15.50

I'm looking forward to seeing your Dominik Hasek item.

That is very wise. Congrats, and looking forward to seeing what it is.
Days or so for me.
<< <i>i would not have posted this until the item is in hand. >>
agreed, or at the very least not give any clues as to what was purchased. There are enough vindictive sorts out there that delight in screwing with another's good fortune.

Like you said, if I did, someone would spend night and day trying to ruin it for me.

Smart move! A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
congrats on the buy.. hopefully you get it and it wasn't a simple listing error

Well, if you were being truthful in the ending price, you've already given a clue.
If you've done business with anyone here before, there's another clue.
Congrats on the purchase, and I hope it arrives and everything works out.

It really is a shame that this board has come to that. And it is mostly coming from a small handful of individuals. Not sure why people have to be like that - Jealousy, some chemical imbalance in the brain, I don't know. Just hate to see the forum of the most respected card grading company in the country being dragged down like that.....

Yes. How dare you pay the price a seller is asking for an item, knowing you are getting a good deal. No one should EVER under pay. Next time, I expect you to educate the seller on their own item, so they can pull it down and relist it for twice what it's worth.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Excellent play on the OP's name.
that the people who keep responding can try to ruin it for me. The message was to ignore this thread and those who try to find out more details. So
I'll heed their advise. They also said not to do this in the future either.
