I thought that I should share since others on this board have saved me in the past. It looks like there are a handful of 1977 Baseball Rack Packs up for auction right now that look questionable at best. The cards do not appear to be in the correct sections. Here is a link to one of the auctions - LINK
The key to knowing which section a card belongs in is to look for the stars next to the copyright at the bottom of the card (see the following image and find the **)

As Tim (Grote) pointed out to me in previous posts "77 racks were produced with * cards in the section next to the header card, no star cards in the middle section and ** cards in the far right section. It is very unusual to see any variation from that sequencing but when it does happen all of the cards in that particular section should be uniformly incorrect with either one * or two ** (or no * for that matter)"
All the 77 baseball rack packs I have purchased from reliable sources follow this same pattern. As you can see from the racks on ebay, there is absolutely no consistency. I'm staying away.

Great observations. I believe only one of the six has the correct sequencing. It unfortunately is in one of the lots of two.
Too many red flags. I'll pass.
