I think the chest on the eagle is obscured by a slab defect.

There looks like some nice (florescent green or yellow?) elevation chromatics going on in Miss Liberties hair -- and the reverse rainbow looks pretty vibrant and showy. Not too sure how dark the obverse will look in-hand though and if the obverse edge blotchiness will bother me. These kinds of coins are so hard to evaluate from photos -- you have to see them in-hand I think. But it looks interesting.

I think 1889 might be a bit of a tougher date for color.

I'm leaning towards that. Might not hurt to send it in for a reholder and a trueview. I bet it makes for a very nice photo!

Right, but the same coin sold 6 days ago, (link posted above) and it looks quite different than it does tonight, and $150,00 bucks more expensive. Cheers!

The Eagles breast area is a slab defect. Don't know why but PCGS slabs often have these smudges.
Very nice coin. Appears the seller can take an image, hopefully it's the same inhand or close.

I love morgans like that. My guess is that the pics are juiced a bit though.

Very difficult to find two sided toned morgans in MS.

I love the two sided color and toning pattern.

If this would have been in one of Greattoning's auction the price could have easily been doubled.
