What 4 Commems did you choose for your 7070?

I have a nice Pilgrim already. I'm thinking an Oregon Trail would be nice but I need to decide on the other 2.

Today I would put in a Pan pac and a Pilgrim instead of Texas and San Diego.

<< <i>I have had two complete sets of four. The first set was comprised of modern commem clads.

nothing wrong here, nice set
Bay Bridge
Gettysburg
Bridgeport
Arkansas
I went with a southern & western theme:
Texas
Stone Mountain
Spanish Trail
Oregon Trail
I really like this combination.
The Columbian because it was the first
The Delaware because that was where I was born and raised.
The Antietam because the design is neat and its connections to the Civil War
The Oregon because it is generally regarded as the most attractive.

<< <i>I did an Indian theme. Can you guess which four? >>
Ok, I'll guess.
Oregon, Long Island, Arkansas, Missouri. On the two inner coins (Long Island, left) a Dutch settler and Indian are facing an Indian Chief of 1836 and American girl of 1936 (Arkansas, right.) Flanking them is an Indian and frontiersman (Missouri, right) showing the way west while on the left an Indian (Oregon) gesturing to halt the expansion. On a variation of the theme I thought a 1928 Hawaiian on the right would be perfect symmetry to the Oregon, visually.

I also picked these.

There are lots of votes for the Columbian and several for the PanPac. I like the idea of Gettysburg or Antietam for the historical significance. The Oregon Trail runs a few miles from my house. Old wagon ruts are still visible in places. That one is a given.
I love the Texas obverse but the reverse seems to busy to be a true classic. The art deco eagle of the Connecticut is a bit too odd, but the Charter oak is fantastic.
Love the California too........
I better be careful. This sort of thing could get a person drawn into a whole different corner of the hobby!
Since I live in Calif. I have thought about replacing the Columbian Exposition with a San Diego.
However, I have also thought about replacing the Columbian Exposition with an Oregon Trail since that coin's design is so appealing.
