Leave it, in the long run you will see how few DMPL/PL coins have color and you will be glad to have one with some.

why would you want to get rid of the golden tone? its nice! But if you want to dip it, go ahead and post results of it ruined afterwards.

If you remove the toning it'll expose even more imperfections in the fields and possibly cloud the mirror effect. Leave it as is.

I agree with WTCG. The coin is NT all day long, and the toning is a big part of its appeal IMO. Removal of said toning will likely uncover previously hidden or ameliorated bagmarks and/or hairlines.

Not to be contrary, but I would dip it. Toning like this tends to obscure the mirrors, and with
this coin, the mirrors are everything. Just don't expect the coin to look all that great -- there
are many contact marks on the obverse.

You folks can't be serious to think the front, with that ugly brown looks as nice as the reverse??? And I own a boatload of toned coins. This one is plain ugly, and let PCGS do it if you want it done right! (Just don't expect a DMPL!)

This guy knows how to take pictures, and that is the ugly color, it doesn't get any better I think!
