Can you use TrueView when doing a Crossover?

I'm filling in an online submission for some crossovers and there is no "trueview" checkbox.

Is this just a flaw in the online submission or is TrueView not available for Crossovers?

Hey Barry, I just did a crossover with true view so yes you can do it. regards cass

I believe that it is not available as I recently encountered the same. The thinking might be that if the coin does not cross, then you are stuck with payment for a service that cannot be delivered and would have to be refunded.

Yes you can. Include the $10.00 fee in the Fee Calculation and leave a note on the submission form stating "please photo if crosses over". Before the order is completed I would contact customer service just to make sure it's been noted. Kind of a pain as it's not something typically offered, but they'll do it by request.

The last time I tried to TrueView a Crossover, PCGS said no. Their rationale was that TrueViews are done before grading, not after, and this couldn't be done on a Crossover, as you can't crack out a Crossover for photography as a first step. I got the sense that photographing Crossovers would disrupt the flow of their process.

I don't know if the policy has changed since then.

You can ask for a TrueView with a Crossover. We now charge your card at the end of the transaction so it will always be for the correct amount.
