carew4mecarew4me Posts: 3,470 ✭✭✭✭

The current total as of today 01/09/13 is 4,287,000.

What will the final January number be???

My guess 5,276,888.

Hope a lot of the pre-order buyers from this small group of wholesalers don't get disappointed by having their money tied up only to have it returned at a later date. Could explain the sudden drying up of prior year boxes.

I believe it will go over 6 million so I will guess 6,128,000.

I believe that the Authorized Buyers have completed most of their early orders. Unless demand picks up substantially from their clients, I doubt that it will exceed 5 million.

    I am guessing 6,450,000

On a related note, Provident Metals has this notice on their website.
"NOTICE: Due to extremely high order volumes, some orders have been taking longer than normal to process. We are working feverishly to expedite orders and appreciate your patience."

It shouldn't be related to the 2013 ASE, still it means that people are buying a lot of PM!

My guess is, that you do not peruse Provident's website very often. That comment is on all of their pre sale items and has been for years.

I order mucho from Provident and the banner in question is at the top of the main page.
It is fairly rare to see it.
I in no way wish to extrapolate its meaning to either Jan Eagle sales or demand in general.

Is there a cutoff date for guesses?

Hope it's not January 31! image

I think a lot of people have shifted from buy PM "gold & silver" to buying PM "steel & lead"(guns and ammo).

Zoom! Eight to Ten million possible this month?

My guess of 6.12 million will be passed in the next day or two. My 40+ million guess for the year is a possibility.

Jan 12 may have been a record, but total silver sales for 2012 decreased by 25% over 2011. So January is not a good gauge for possible future production totals.

Maybe the 2012 record is safe.....or another million order last week of Jan?!!?
