10 days flat sideways, why?

tneigtneig Posts: 1,505 ✭✭✭
Who knows about tomorrow and 2013, but why do you think its so flat the last 11 days?
Is everything in the 'wait and see' mode? Its not even a real dip for the end of year,
since its just been about flat for 11 days..

Big banks and big government are trying to beat down precious metals to make the dollar appear stronger.

keep in mind that spot is determined by paper trading. Physical price (plus premium) only rolls along with it. The physical market will eventually divorce itself from paper pricing and establish its own market that will be independent of paper trading. At that time you will see physical price increases while paper price is decreasing. Widening difference of supply/demand of physical vs. that of paper will determine when this occurs.

I think 2013 will be a good year for PM's.

How much, I don't know, but it should be substantially positive.
