Very nice Bob. This just sold 2 weeks ago in the Greg Bussineau auction. The winner flipped it to you?

Love the centering!!! The back is nice as well.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I suppose so. Didn't know it recently sold. Looking at the closed Bussineau auction, I think I did alright.

that's how the guy operates. he buys stuff from recent big AHs and then flips it, thinking most of the buyers don't even know about cards from these other venues.

That's been my favorite Ruth forever. Just love the pic and the way he's rocking his hat. Just a card with lots of flavor. And his early editions are just so out of range, I can see many collectors turning to this card as an alternative to the Goudeys.

But, usually, cards goes much higher in the AH because the big buyers don't bother with ebay. So a lot of times you buy it on ebay & consign it to the AH (if you can get the consignment fee lowered) and that's how you make a little money. This guy's doing it in reverse. I don't know how the hell he can make any money as a general rule.
