PCGS Crossover Special Results (IMAGES ADDED)

Sent in my first PCGS submission for crossover special. Overall dissapointed with results as I did not get the desired outcome. 5 of 8 crossed yet at same grade (one getting a +). Other 3 did not cross. I got charged the full fee for all 8 and will enquire tomorrow as to the reason.

Same happened to me. I had to call CS to initiate a refund for the 2 that DNC. Showed up on next CC statement.

I am not particularly surprised, and sorry for your disappointment. I have had some absolute garbage results that have really affected my thoughts about future submissions - one of mine (and I don't want to get too specific) I cracked out and sold raw to a very high rung English firm with an expert in the field to obtain another piece more focal to my specialty for well into 5 figures. No hairlines or "tooling" or color variance seen under 30 power scope, and a discovery piece at that.

The objective of both TPGs, it seems, is to beef up their world pop reports at a nominal cost. My other concern would be double counting if one doesnt send the cracked slab laber to the original TPG for removal from the pop report.

That's why pop reports are so unreliable.

The bright side is that you still have 8 amazing talers in top tier holders.

For $55 a coin, I did appreciate PCGS sending these back in a blue plastic box for storage.

Glad you finally did this image

been talking about it for some time.

You did OK overall so don't be dissapointed.

I can see why the first two did not cross - totally don't get why the 3rd one (Dav8097 MS63) did NOT cross.

Maybe post these all again in their new tombs when you get em back.

Edited to add the pics are really nice - keep it up Z - you have great taste.
