I have never driven to a coin show, but I've flown to several. Find that strange? Try living in the middle of the Rockies.

I live in southeast Indiana and I was thinking of driving to the FUN show after I retire next year. Do you mind if I ask you why you drove instead of flying?

2 miles. Nearly 40 years of collecting and I've never been to a show other than our tiny local one.

I drove from Portland Oregon to Baltimore. Also drove from Portland Oregon to Cincinnati. Those were my mid-life years.

Going to FUN in Orlando is about a buck fifty one way but I enjoy sight seeing.
I used to ride our coin club's bus trip for $10. but it's nicer to stop and take a
break. The ole 400 or 500 road trips are all but gone for me but one day I want
to fly to one of the monster shows but I need to hit the lottery first so I'll have
    enough money too spend. image
