Answer received. Thanks.

Hey guys. I have never received a Money Order from Canada. Board member XBaggypants is making a $150.00 purchase from me. (I live in New York.) Is there a special type of Money Order I need him to use? Is there one that I do NOT want? Thanks.
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

  • The only acceptable one is the Pink International Money order in US dollars.
I use to receive a ton of these from Canada before the Paypal payment is the only acceptable payment kicked in.

Since Canada has their own postal system we do not use USPS "pink" International Money Orders. A Canada Post International money order or any International Money Order would do. Paypal makes International transactions like these so much easier/faster though.

Not sure of this applies to all banks, but my bank does charge a fee (a few dollars, iirc) for processing a foreign mo or personal check drawn on a foreign bank.

    Most do.

Whats nice about the Postal International Money order is that you can cash it right at the P.O.
