Calling Bazooka 1971 box experts

hey, need some help on this please. A ebay seller as listed 10 1971 bazooka complete boxes graded on ebay. no scan of the back though. i asked him for a scan of the back and he declined saying it adds the the mystery of it and he had to protect himself!!!! weird realy weird. psa before would not holder them because the are to big . i want to know if the tab is folded back and it is indeed a complete box or it it trimmed off to fit a psa holder. psa has graded 1968 bazooka boxes like this but label them as TAB MISSING. thoughts? Scott from psa said via email HE BELIEVES ITS FOLDED BACK BUT NOT SURE>

    PSA listed it as "COMPLETE BOX"... I must have consumed 2 of these boxes every week when I was a child! Too bad they folded the top flab back; I guess it's a good compromise so it'll fit in their slab?

    psa is always making mistakes! i find it very puzzling the seller wont sent me a scan of the back saying it adds to the mystery of it and he has to protect himself!!! thoughts and would you spend $650 not knowing. a true complete box and tap missing are is a huge difference in $$$

    Why don't you ask the seller if the tab is folded or cut off? If he responds ignorantly again tell him about the mystery of your vanished interest.

    When a seller refuses to provide additional pictures, for whatever reason(s), it becomes a gamble and you should factor that into your bidding.
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    i did ask him, he reply was he wont scan the back since it adds to the mystery and then stated he had to protect himself on this item.

    Tell him if you want a mystery you will go to the friggin movies or read a book.
    Protect himself? From what? Not being able to rip you off?

    He may be a good seller, but if so his responses are just off the friggin wall then!

    He's got 5 or 6 running now and with a reserve. Guess he's either lazy, doing something sketchy, or being a pain in the rear just because.

    likely has the tab, the holders are too small to fit.
    Psa makes you sign a waiver acknowledging they have to bend to fit the holder to my understanding..
    same way with the transogram boxes

    I would stay away from any seller that responded that way for additional information.

    I think a simple, smart-azzed reply is in order...

    "Thank you for your reply. My concern was not to put you at risk or solve a mystery, but to determine if the tab was indeed folded or removed. I'll remove the added 'mystery' of my bid . . . there won't be one, so you're 'protected' from potentially making a little extra money. I hope your smartazz response was worth it."

    if you spending that much $ i want to know 110% the tab is there and indeed if its folded. provide a scan.. his ebay id is rustysetter. stay away from him

    I love those boxs... If psa graded them as complete boxs i say you will be safe.
