Some things I've picked up the last couple weeks: (serial numbers on Engs intentionally blanked out, no they're not stolen lol.)

And some things I've picked up the last couple months:

No I'm not a hypocrite because I've been saying silver is headed down. What I actually said is that I'm being more selective in what I am buying.

Nice Engelhard 5 oz bars Rich. The digit "5" seems to be added as an afterthought. Why bother to obscure the serial numbers?

Here is a bar that arrived today from Canada. Kilos are not too ususual but bars with the 32.150 weight spelled out are scarce.

    Nice pick up OGIM,

That should make a nice addition to your other non bull logo kilo.

    I'm a little jealous...

It's all about what the people want...

    Thanks Luke.

There are two other sub-types for 32.150 marked bars with bull horns (larger/smaller logos and varied stamp placement). I am still looking for those.

POM---Nice bars. I'm curious why you hid the serial numbers on the Engelhard bars.

So if I decide to sell them, you wont know how much I paid for them and use that against me in the bartering process. Not saying you have, but some have done that to me, and I don't appreciate that. image What I paid for it should have no baring on what I am selling it for to a potential buyer. It's just a personal decision.
I'm sure those who follow my every move (i'm not flattering myself, it's amazing what others seem to find out sometimes when I led nothing on) will still be able to know, and it would be kind of rude of them to disclose that publicly or privately...I hope you'd agree.

I don't see where you said how much you paid for them. Agree that your selling price has no bearing on what you want for them.

That 1969 Foster Company 3-oz silver art bar is a good pickup IMO. It makes sense to be more selective in what silver you are buying because, if spot silver goes down, then the premium of certain "collector" silver such as silver art bars and old pour silver bars will hold up the best in a down market IMO based on ebay premiums that I have seen.
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a '70's silver art bar expert but I try my best to play one on the Internet.

He may be assuming that someone could figure out prices paid by checking ebay closed auctions.
