A Scudo and Taler

New additions I got through trade. Both very scarce.

Emperor of Austria Francis I (1804-1835) Scudo. Lombardy-Venetia. DAV-8. Lovely crown with beautiful dark patina. Very rare in such condition. NGC MS-63. Don't get the sloppy slab job.

Christoph Anton von Migazzi (1757-1803) Taler. DAV-1267. Holzmair S.68, Montenouvo 3272. Bishopric of Vienna, founded in 1471. The bishop became a prince in 1631 and in 1722 was raised to archbishopric. Territorial holdings were very nominal. This is the only crown issued by the archbishopric with a mere 2,000 pieces minted overall for this type. Very scarce issue especially in such mint state condition. NGC MS-63.
