Please be advised this link will take you to an eBay auction of a silver nude bar of Marilyn Monroe. Dont click on it if it offends you.
silver nude of MM
I always thought silver nudes had to go in a special category on eBay but I have been noticing them alot in the standard silver bar/round category of late.
Did they change this policy or are these sellers unaware of it and just getting away with it?

To forgive is to free a prisoner, and to discover that prisoner was you.

And remember, as long as truthful things that aren't liebelous are said about people, they wont feel the need to report anything to the Mods as we found out today. Right Tim?
<< <i>But seriously, I remember having to list them in some category like "Other" awhile back when I sold a few. Has the policy changed, wondering because I have more to sell on there if they now allow them in the standard category.

Policy has not changed, but if you cover up the b east, that would be acceptable. That nude policy is primarily for "adult products" and silver bars with nudes on them, well....If they are reported, I doubt if they are on any eBay priority lists for review.
They are not covered in the auction I linked...so are you saying that seller is in violation of eBays policy? Sorry for the questions on a trivial thing, just dont want to take the time to create the auctions only to have them pulled.

On nude bullion bars...yes it's a violation. However on monetized coins, or art work of the masters, it's not. example of a coin that would not fall in the "adult" category.
<< <i>LMAO OPA!!! What-in-the-hell-is-that? LOL >>
$1 Cook Island circulating coin. BTW it's also Mad Marty's (forum member)Avatar Icon, but he's got a hat covering a certain part.
<< <i>The last nude Marilyn Monroe silver art bar auction that was NOT covered up ended without getting pulled by ebay. I think that the auction was a 1973 Colonial Mint nude Marilyn Monroe bar that fetched a recent winning bid of $102+. >>
Just about every nude MM that's been on in the last 3 month, has completed its auction. Auction might get pulled if some one reports it. eBay does not patrol their auctions.
