I was VERY fortunately to get CU member "Orioles" as my Secret Santa again this year, and once again he blew me away with his generosity!!

(4) 1981 Topps cello packs with Orioles on top, (2) 1983 Topps rack packs with Murray on top:


AND (2) Ripken jersey cards, one of which is SIGNED!!


Since that jersey/auto is GREY, it will be going straight into my Ripken jersey framing project!! Yes, I'm still working on it, it's a slow project but I'm still enjoying it.

This was the cream on top of my already awesome Christmas weekend, thank you Jim for your incredible generosity, and thank you Larry for putting together this year's Secret Santa!!

my secret santa absolutely rocked it! some super cool wax (92 stadium hi# - pulled a Favre!, 1976 Panini, 1986 Panini!), and a 1948 Leaf card that I thought 'huh, this is a bit random..' until I looked at the back and saw that it was a Sugar Ray Robinson wrongback! awesome awesome stuff. pics coming soon!

My secret santa absolutely rocked it! He sent me a box of 2009 Bowman Chrome where I hit a Domonic Brown refractor, the 1st one stamped. Also sent a NICE assortment of Rays inserts and parallels, as well as some Bucs cards. I will try and scan them today and post it.

Normally I would say rip it like it ain't no THANG, but I would at least keep one of each unopened. Great gift!

Just now getting to post about what my awesome Secret Santa sent me for Christmas. He sent, in no particular order, a large format book about the Brooklyn Dodgers, several Cal Ripken and JIm Palmer OPC cards, an Earl Weaver autographed baseball, a number of hits to my set wantlists in high grades: 1977 Topps Cloth Sticker Jim Palmer in BCCG 9, 1975 Topps Bake McBride, Catfish Hunter and Gaylord Perry all in PSA 8; 1976 Brewers Team Card - PSA 8; 1978 Topps Tommy Lasorda - PSA 9, Victory Leaders - PSA 8, Rangers Team - PSA 9; and a super cool 1971 Mattel Instant Replay Frank Robinson mini-record. Very, very generous and extremely appreciated! And to top it some cash for future card purchases!!

I want to thank my secret Santa! I would have done so in a PM as well but they truely kept their identity private. I kind of collect odd ball stuff for my White Sox/ Bulls/ Bears collection and music and entertainment autographs but my Santa hit a homerun!! I first got an odd ball Ozzie Guillen card as well as a Micheal Jordan card from the early 90's. Then things got even better I got a 1986 Topps Tiffany & 1991 Topps Desert Shield Harold Baines cards both PSA 9! I love the Desert Shield set and this is only my third card from the set. I was already happy but there was one more present to open and Santa saved the best for last. He got me a signed PSA/DNA 8x10 of Tom Morello! Thanks Santa, hope your Christmas was wonderful as well.

Wanted to say Thank You to my Secret Santa.

I listed Colts cards on my list and I did receive. My package contained a couple hundred Colts cards and not just commons either. Received 100 or so Reggie Wayne cards and the older Topps cards brought back memories. Oh and I cant forget the PSA graded cards of Manning and Luck. These were not low grades either. I received a 8, a 9 and a 10!. Also received a PSA 8 Kirby Puckett rookie.

I would also like to thank my Secret Santa. This was my first year and I had great fun trying to figure out what to get my recipient and also staring at my box from my Secret Santa for a few weeks. And let me tell you it was worth the wait. I a few former colts and was suprised to find 4 PSA 10's of those players. Three of Which are a POP 1 and the Manning is a POP 2!!!! Thanks again to my SS this year and I will definitely be looking forward to next years exchange.

I just returned from out of town and was finally able to open my Secret Santa gift.

Thank you Secret Santa. I received:
15 packs of 1981 Topps Baseball Scratch-Off

4 packs of 1979 Topps Burger Kings (Phillies) Cellos

a nice baseball pack run from 1979 through 1983 Topps, and a pack of 83 Fleer and 83 Donruss.

Too boot, the 1980 Wax pack was PSA graded 8

and I received a second package that had a really nice 1979 Topps Cello pack PSA graded 9 with Ryan/Johnson Record Holder on front.

Thank you very much, Santa. I appreciate all your efforts and the packs!

My Santa did great. The Boggs and Gwynn are needed for a project I am putting together. The Packer cards are always a nice addition. And now I may have to start the 1954 Bowman set ;-)

sorry for posting so late, but i've been swamped with work. I'd like to thank my santa as I had great fun opening my items. I think this is a great thing the board does, and look forward to next years!

I've been on just a fun pack opening binge lately and my santa provided some fun ones - 2008 UD Football blaster, a topps 08 BB jumbo pack, 2 89 hoops, an 82 FB, an oodball fleer 92, and a ebay giftcard for future ripping!

Very fun to open up, no major hits, but lots of fun with an Earl Bennett rookie patch in the 08 UD football, lots of football stars, no MJ or David Robinson in the Hoops, but lots of stars, and a few decen 82 topps HOFers.
