Ok here. Few to no problems. Not far from the passing of the eye after hitting land. Inland though in a higher elevation development.

Work closed, so no pay, np, vacation days.

Friend along the Delaware bay had a 4 foot tide come into his yard. Wind was not bad here, one big kick coming in, and more on the back side.
Not so good though along the beaches and bays and delware river.

Some not so lucky, many w/o power.

It was scary at the height of the storm but no major damage in our town except a few downed trees and falling roof tiles with massive power outages for a couple of days. Just got power and cell service back a couple of hours ago. Others not so lucky...many lost their homes from the incoming water surge and from the raging fire fueled by the hurricane force winds that destroyed a 100+ homes overnight. Also others lost their lives. Our prayers continue to go out to them.

Rich, thanks for thinking of me and thanks to the other members for calling and emailing me!
Just want to let you know that we are all ok.
It has been quite a tough week but we have never been in danger. We are still with no power, no hot water and we go "hunting" for an outlet to charge our phones.
Thanks to CNN and NBC we were able to use their truck's power.
Thanks also to the National Guard we are feeling safe and things are improving.
As of today, some power lines were restored and few options with mass transit are available again.

My prayers go to the ones who loss their lives. Thanks to God we haven't had any big issue here.

WoW! Good to hear from you Matteo. I figured you were probably a little too busy to be posting, but it is very good to hear from you. Stay strong bro...good thoughts will continue to sent your way, as well as to the others that have replied. I'm sure there's some other members that haven't posted yet that we are thinking of, let's hope they are all doing better each day.
