Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning - Your thoughts.

  • I think last years QB won a playoff game.
  • Yeah but this year's QB didn't have to play in the first round, he skipped it entirely. I'm actually a fan of both QB's. I caught glimpses of the game, the TD at the end of regulation was due to horrendous defense. Peyton himself could have played the ball better than that. I still dont know what that Bronco DB was thinking.

This is cool: Payton Manning went over to the visitor's locker room after the game to personally offer his congratulations to Ray Lewis.

As one of the biggest Patriot fans and one of the very few who genuinely likes Peyton Manning I want to say congrats to a great comeback year, tough loss but good job this Season image

I too am a big Patriots fan and Peyton showed why he is such a class act. He did not deserve to lose that way.

No doubt Peyton is a class act, always has been.

That said, it was a typical Peyton divisional game. Sure the tying TD at the end of regulation was horrendous, but he got 2 kick return TDs and couldn't win a game where there were 9.5 pt favorites, and he threw a pick that led to the winning FG....

I'll give myself a pat on the back for post #2 in this thread...lol.

    Ugh!!!!!

What a bummer of an outcome to an exciting game. How could Denver's defense allow the game tying TD???? How could Manning throw a pick that led to the winning field goal.

Congrats to the Ravens. Good luck next week.

Denver had a great regular season, one of the best it has had in a long time. However, losing its first game in the playoffs, at home, as a #1 seed just bites. The whole experience of Denver's 2012 season is sort of like "kissing your sister". Just not satisfying at all.

Jdip9 had it pegged early on in this thread. One and done. image

    Just thought about it.

Tim Tebow has a better playoff record as a Bronco than does Manning.

That was a very tuff loss. Manning is better than that. Blame the Denver D for giving up that 70 Yard TD with 31 seconds to go.

In that situation you stay back and DON'T let anyone behind you!!

    GEEZE......Football 101!

I am jealous. You are going to the game. Wish it were me. Have a great time, stay warm (I heard it will top out in the mid teens today in Denver) and cheer on the Broncos.

Any forumites want to make a prediction on the score?

    Go Broncos. >>

We were able to stay relatively warm. Tough way to end a good season. We had a lot of chances to make a play and change the game, but we failed each time.

...and Eli still holds more SB titles than his big brother.
  • Manning is way over rated. Surely no Tom Brady
