How uncommon is A DMPL 1970-D Kennedy Half ......... Pics added "It Graded DPL"

I thought there were it was a proof in the wrong spot in Album.
Are these common ?

Not the best but the mirrors are very deep

I've had many a mint set and never had a Cam or Dmpl. Never seen one in hand, yet.

So, I'd say they are as scarce as hens teeth.

Is it possible it was plated? It looks like I might be able to see the clad layer on the edge though, so maybe not. Or is that toning?

Some nice mirrors there. I recently found a '69-S Jefferson nickel with fields like that.

This coin is really quite common as being a little PL with about 3% being noticeably so.

Your's appears to be much more PL than most. Most of the PL '70-D's are unattractive because
of excessive marking.

I have never seen a coin like that come out of a mint set. Examine it very closely I think there is a lot more chance of it being made and not minted that way.

...never seen a coin from a mint set with such brilliance. reminds me of a mercury finish or chrome plating. the 70-D was only available in mint sets.
