The sheets of 1 and 10gram Valcambi look pretty kewl and may make nice individual presents for family and friends.

Any issue with these ya know of? May be simplier/cheaper to just give a clean pre-64 dime, but the dime will disapear.
Maybe they'll keep the pure silver around and learn something.

    They are nice and neat.
No issue that I am aware of, except for their high price.
I have seen bars sealed in soft plastic as well as in hard plastic cases.
There are silver, gold and palladium bars. I have also seen some with a special design, Cook Island if I am not mistaken.

I suppose if you like "tiny" bars with a substantial premium, that's the way to go. Valcambi is a world class refinery that's been around since 1961. At one time, they also produced the Credit Suisse Bars.
For gift givings, personally I'd prefer locally manufactured 1 oz bars, that traditionally have a much smaller spread. Silvertown, NTR, APMEX, Scottsdale or Academy, just to mention a few.

Somebody here got a sheet or 2 of the silver I believe. I was debating it when they came out, but didn't want the premium price at the time.
