That is, until 1968 but then I expect that the item you're displaying was produced/created between 1956 and 1967.

In 1965, the U.S. Treasury Department did open an "Assay Office" in San Francisco which is still in operation, but the Mint is still closed down.

The "Assay Office" was re-designated a mint in 1988.

i heard that SF started back minting back in 1965 and looked up some info
David Lange wrote that SF made over 200 million 1964 cents back in 1965 at SF ....
so would this be at the mint ?

It's still the SF Mint location, sitting on top of Mint Hill.
