    That's a Coin Vault Slab. The coin was from number 1501 - 2000 produced for the year of production.

    Not of any extra value over what the coin is worth. In this case I see the slab as a protective covering only.

    Aren't they 500 coin boxes.
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    This was the only year NGC released the red "first strikes" label. After that they went to the early releases label. Years down the road it may have added value (moreso if a 70) as it was the only year released.

  • Thanks all , The NGC First strike was different From the the early release holders i own . Just wanted to be sure it wasn't valueable before selling it. Thanks Ron
