Got out to the place where I found that 10k gold cross ring a few weeks ago. Started off in the same park area as before... there's not much at this place, a lot of shallow signals. Was able to get an ugly Merc and two V nickels (both dateless). Moved one minute away and within 5 minutes a WTN popped out. Then, about 15 minutes later I got a deep quarter signal. "Could it be silver?" Yup, 1929 Standing Liberty Quarter. About two inches over, another signal...turned out to be a 1912 Barber dime. Ended with a total of 13 silver coins and 18 wheats.

Also picked up coin #4,000 for the year. That makes 131 silver coins and 422 wheats for the year as well. Might have to take off work and go back to this place!

HH all.
