Quite Attached to my Willie

Just arrived. Bit of a gruff old codger, but glad to finally have his RC in my collection. Next up is a 1939 World in Arms Trotsky RC. Am looking to not pay shipping and get it shipped in a Staples branded bubble mailer.

Dan ... AWESOME looking card. Congrats.

I think the only negative thing you can say about the card is that dark round spot on his right cheek; the white spots to the left and top of the "W" in Willie and some spotting on his arm and the black bottom border.

The condition is amazing. Looks like it was just ripped from a pack.

I just put your Russian sentence into Bing Translator and it came out as:

Nice map of the capitalist pig

    LOL

Guys, did you happen to write the sentence in English to see how IT translates?

I don't doubt that the Russian sentence translates the way you claim. In fact I know it does, hence my saying 'Blame Bing'

Ницца Карта капиталистической свиньи. From English to Russian. (Nice card you capitalistic pig)

Ницца Карта капиталистической свиньи. From Russian to English (Nice map you capitalistic pig)

Now that we have settled that, Nice card Dan, you capitalistic pig. lol J/K

    Good for you.

    Awesome card Thunderdan!

The only way I know how to diagnose the importance of a card like this is price and this is an expensive card.

I am sure any baseball card collector would love to add this to their collection and congratulations this must feel great to add this to your other super high end baseball cards.

  • WinPitcherWinPitcher Posts: 27,726 ✭✭✭
Lastly since I'm in line and sinker, somehow, you copied- pasted 'kapma' which means karma in Russian.

Now I'd appreciate you throw me back in, and I'll hit the sidelines.

And no I do not know how 'karma' translates from English to Russian only how 'kapma' translates from
Russian to English, at least according to Bing.

Nice card. What did you pay in shipping and was it shipped within 24 hours? Was there shill bidding in the auction? Did the seller leave feedback? I just need to make sure of these things to determine whether or not it was a successful transaction.
