I had to have it NEWP CC

I knew it when I saw it inside the glass case. It was booming with luster sitting in that black tray.
Before I put my 5x Bausch & Lomb to it, I knew it was gonna be a beauty. I could see the clashes on the reverse and the neck of Liberty,
it was clean n white, I wasn't gonna let it go. My heart started to race as I looked it over, this was a near gem and it's raw.
I felt confident and empowered, as I knew this was near Gem. The dealer looked at and offered me a price I couldn't refuse. I purchased it without questioning or haggling. Then I raced home to shoot it, I love U.S. coinage.
I feel it's a solid 63, perhaps a 4. How about you?

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
<< <i>Unless the images are hiding something I cannot see that going less than a 65 with 66 a real possiblity, very nice. >>
Reverse: 66
Net: 65
Nice coin!
Other than the to hits to the bottom jaw, the cheek isn't to bad.
The reverse is tough to find anything, besides the die polish lines below the viewers left wing and the clashing, which I like.
It's your typical white clean CC IMO.
EDIT: Unfortunately, the area in front of Liberty's nose appears to be a thumb print.
I may give it a bath in Acetone, probably will.
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
<< <i>If that's really what it looks like in hand (if the photos aren't hiding any serious bagmarks), I could see this in a 65 holder. >>

In Acetone as I write this, right next to the bon fire, on a cool October evening

...Acetone right next to a bon fire??? are you still here with us? Nice Coin!

Kidding, it's safely sitting on the work bench in the shed for a couple hours.

lol... I figured you were kidding, I mean who would risk loosing a Gem coin like that in an acetone-induced fire! I have a really nice 1971 Eisenhower with a finger print on it, how to I get it off without stripping luster? Help
