NGC Black catch a hefty premium.

The original NGC black holders carry the stiffest premium, followed by the PCGS Regency holder and PCGS doily holder, in my experience. The original NGC black holder and the PCGS Regency will be tough to pick off from an unsuspecting seller, but the PCGS doily holders can still be found without a premium.

Yup. The Black first generation NGC slab is the rarest and most valuable followed by the PCGS Regency slab. The PCGS doily slab is a distant third.

Doilies are soooo common nowadays, we get many bst threads with doilies weekly.

NGC BLACK SLAB is the rarest and priciest! I'm glad NGC brought it back, now they need to allow any type of coin in the retro black holders!

For me, it's the holder with the nicest coin inside.

Finding doily slabs without a premium has been extremely difficult for me. For almost a year I've been looking for one to give as a gift to an unsuspecting friend, but they've been cost prohibitive.
