I am not really sure what it is?....other than two horses
Its roughly 1 3/4" wide has a flat bad and clasp on the backside. It appears to be poured but silver.
I can't make out the makers mark or artists signature. Wondering if its some sort of child's belt buckle but looks
to small in width and very bulky. It is so very cool but has me stumped....Any ideas?
Stefanie

Could it be saddle related?
<< <i>Looks like a neckerchief slide...... not sure of the size, but if the retainer portion is small enough, could be for a bolo tie....Cheers, RickO >>
That makes sense so I agree.

Now i have to try and figure out the name inside and search on the net.

that makes sense to me
The design looks to be Eastern and not Western.
In addition, the three top figures look like numbers and not letters. They are 4, 8 & 5 in Tibetan figures.
So I think Bronco is close to it. The item is for a bridle more likely because of it's size.
That's my take on it anyway.
Got quoins?
<< <i>I seriously doubt it is for a kerchief (like the Scouts use) because the loop would be at the top of the horses head and not at the side nor would there be a post.

If it was a neckerchief slide the horse's heads would be facing sideways. I think it is something else.
Not sure if its right side up or upside down?
