once you enter you can't block all of their subsequent spam or you'll never know if you are a winner. Old trick to keep their spam coming through to you. you have to open all subsequent email from them to find out if it is the one telling you that you are a winner.

As long as its only email spam and not actual junk mail going to my house maybe i'll give it a try with a spare email account. image

With the name "Independent Living," it sounds like they prey on the elderly.

I want to pretend to be elderly and see what they are up to.... I just don't have the time to play with them.

The more things you opt into, the more you get profiled and more valuable your information becomes, and the more spam/scams you get.
Being flagged as a responder makes you more likely to purchase, so your name more valuable.

Isn't it a little foolish to give out your SSN ? Even more so with a valid address and genuine name.

I think if you win they would send you a 1099 or whatever.

it wasn't clear from my first post but I saw the ad here at the top of this forum page. Does PCGS have any say over those ads or are they random? I don't remember seeing any ads until recently when I upgraded firefox and it decided adblock wasn't compatible with the new versionimage

    Now I see ads everywhereimage
  • I seen the ad too Bronco , i don't usually click on them and i really don't think PCGS has a lot of say in what appears as over time there has been some weird ad's.

the web address in the OP link looks like a referral link - If you change any of the characters at the end of the link you get the same sign up page. no telling who got a referral when I signed up.

They must be doing a heavy advertising blitz, I'm seeing them all over the web.
