A rare October hunt for me

Yes it is walnut season here. The crop is going to be slim with all of the dry weather we had this summer. I actually got out by a football concession area for about an hour yesterday and found $4.06 which beats my combined total of .74 for Oct and Nov last year. Today I picked up 42 5 gal buckets which will be in the neighborhood of 400 pounds 4 hours. Thats better than I've been doing for the last several days.

    PPC good to see you getting some detecting done. With the slim walnut crop wil the buyers be dishing out more because of it? Your back must be sore!

    good stuff ppc. i like them months for some reason. i think its cause i do find more silver then. i hope it turns up soon for tthat as well here
