It has an E on it. To me it's just another plane jane bullion bar worth the price of silver. But then, I do not collect old bullion bars nor would I pay a premium for them. Just not pleasing to the eye...Just a clump of silver. On the other hand, some folks collect clumps of copper, tin or steel or tarnished coins. Remember the saying: "its in the eye of the beholder."

I have seen that "E" before, I would say it is a genuine Engelhard.
Too pricey for me anyway.

This seller has also one Hunt Brother's bar.
Can anyone confirm the Hunt's really had their own bars?

Is it worth the price? We have no Redbook to consult; the bidders will decide what it is worth.

FWIW, I have only ever seen two, including this one, of this type.
