Mods, is there a way to start a Numismatic Crimes Section?

I think it would be beneficial to other dealers and collectors if there was one, and of course it would unclutter the Main US Coin forum as well in the process.

format would be:
OP: list of individual threads reporting stolen info.
next under OP: special announcements -- rewards, recoveries, etc.
each post thereafter would be lists of each denomination.
after that, a few reserved posts for future expansion
then individual updates/errors/omissions/bumps
acceptable?

Sounds interesting... although my thought was that it would be nice if they had their own forum section so that it didn't clutter up the US coin forum.

I am making one for my own use along with many other streamlined threads
one of my threads i've bookmarked and am working on
another example
If someone made a thread with a bold title like POST ALL CRIME REPORTS HERE, they would be easier to find, discuss, manage etc. it could be an option, then maybe most people would get use to posting in that thread like the barber mega thread or the ase mega thread, etc.
I do agree it would be nice to have a section dedicated to crime reports as well as a counterfeit report section, but alas I do not see that happening, so we just have to take matters into our own hands like I have done with some of my threads. :-)
here are some other examples i've bookmarked that others have done to take control

Maybe these reports can be locked or be posted on some type of bulletin board.
Thank you
<< <i>Well it is in most cases News of interest to most dealers and collectors alike. So why not use that forum it is already there.
i am missing something. to which one do you refer?
i looked over the entire list of forum categories.

I think LindeDad means Announcements & News which is at the top of the lists.
It's a general forum not associated with any particular area such as coins, sports cards, stamps, autographs, etc.
<< <i>Good idea--but I am tired of reading all the "monday morning quarterback" postings (by the know-it-alls) to these type of threads.

Reading some of the "Monday Morning Quarterback" post help to narrow the smarter members from the Jack@$$ members.
But seriously, I know what you mean.
