Heck if I know.....just won it

I think there is as the reverse looks pretty good and makes me think the obverse sat open and has dust build up
over the years. When I get it I will give it a nice acetone soak and see if the luster comes back.....which I think there is a good chance.

I'm not ashamed to say that your coin looks less than desireable in my eyes.

AT or NT? It doesn't really matter as the splotchey uneveness of the colors is simply not attractive IMO.

fascinating colors given the relative youthfulness of all coins in question. I would think that much color in such a short period of time may be considered AT ...

or maybe accelerated NT.

mine in storage do not come close .... so someone or something messed with it

Remember, these are .999 fine. They react a little differently than 90% silver coins and quicker.

That CAF Blueberry™ is awesome!!! I had one similar to that that a dealer didn't pay me for at a local show. He placed it behind his case when going through some coins I had for sale and took forever looking thru my stuff. By the time he paid me for the others, I had forgotten that he took that one and set it aside. Didn't realize it 'till I got home. I was

When I first joined in this merry group, there was much talk of NT & AT. I had a 2001 ASE kicking around, so I wrapped it into a brown napkin and put it on the windowsill facing south for the best sun I could get. I've checked it regularly over the course of some 5 years and it still looks new, no AT whatsoever. Anybody got some old Taco Bell napkins? I could have done better in a Dansco album over that length of time. Looking at some of the wild colors on these ASEs, they must have had their albums over the chef's daily preparation of eggs.

PCGS: "Toning that is excessively dark or heavy, or which burns into the surface of the coin, may be rejected." Code 97.

Not sure how they might feel about the area at sun's rays.

Hard to say..... I know it can be duplicated through AT methods..... likely accelerated tarnish at best..... either way, because of my personal preferences, I would not be interested in it. Cheers, RickO
