It's been exposed to something IMO that's not sulfur. Not particularly attractive IMO and would not pay a significant premium. Not so bothered by the lamination on the reverse though, I think it just adds character.
I have seen a few PD`s with that type of toning... That one is fortunate not to have excessive carbon on both sides as the other ones I have seen had...
