A Couple Of Textile Newp Morgans

AuroraBorealisAuroraBorealis Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭✭✭
Here`s a couple of pretty nice new arrivals... We sent the PCGS 82-S in for an upgrade and it went from a 64 to a 65 and was a very welcome upgrade considering it has very near to PL surfaces... Both pics I discovered on a cert# check that PCGS had taken... Pretty nice pics considering they aren`t the true view pics... Hope youssss enjoy and would appreciate help on naming them... image Keep in mind the mirrors on the 82-S and thanks in advance...

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Hi Stef and thank you... We have been doing awesome but this is me and my wife's very busy time of year and meant to comment the other evening on that great new IKE of yours but ended up with my eyes crossing and off to bed... I keep plugging and have picked up some nice pieces over the summer... I`m glad to see you are picking up some nice stuff again also!

    Thanks again...

It can't be that much longer up in the Great White North before hibernation season sets in, and then you can sit around with your familia and name those puppies.

Thanks guitarwes for some ideas... We`ll consider those...
Also thanks for the newer compliments guys...
The 82-S is most definitely the better of the two although the 85-O is a very interesting character coin...
Here are a couple closer views thanks to poorguy for his recent pics...

Wow, Poorguy's photos are awesome. Of course, he's got spectacular coins to work with also.

From the new pics, I change my names to:

    85O- Rainbow emersion

82S- Mystic shadow (like the Mystic paint job on the 90's model Ford Mustang/Probes)

Thanks Nic, TONEDDOLLARS, deltadimeman, and mariner67... I do enjoy posting pics of my additions... image
guitarwes! Guess what? After some discussion, and it`s getting more and more difficult to put names to them me and head morgan dollar namer think that both your ideas for names are perfect... Taking into effect the way that the coin seems to be immersed into color on the 85-O and with the most dramatic pull away on the stars, the date and even a few of the letters more then any of my other Morgans we find that name you picked for the 82-S fits it to a T... Hence from now on these two will be identified as Rainbow Immersion for the 85-O and Mystic Shadow for the 82-S...
    Thank you!

  • I think that they are both gorgeous coins. I'm starting to become a fan of the textile pattern toning. Congratulations, AB!
